Julianne Ponan started her business ‘Creative Nature’ after getting tired of being unable to find nut-free products that were not packed with additives. Creative Nature provide bars, baking mixes, sweet treats and superfoods, which are all free from the top 14 allergens. Everything Creative Nature offer are vegan, nutritious, and lower in sugar. Working with her team, Julianne has created products that suit people with allergies and intolerance. Creative Nature products can be found in most mainstream supermarkets, and some high street retailers, as well as overseas across Europe, the Middle East and Far East.
Julianne started her business journey when she appeared on BBC’s Dragons Den, where she was offered £300,000 in return for 25% by Deborah Meaden. Julianne ended up turning the offer down, and instead secured £350,000 funding from a crowd-funding campaign, who value Creative Nature at over £5 million.
Julianne Ponan has been recognised countless times for her efforts to create allergen free foods and snacks. Julianne has been named as one of the Forbes 30 under 30 to watch, as well as being recently presented with the ‘Woman Who Achieves Internationally’ Award, and the ‘Entrepreneurial Businesswoman of the Year’ Award. Ponan’s hard work as an entrepreneurial business woman is being deservedly recognised, and her inspiring business efforts continue.
